Description: Annual or short-lived perennial herb 10–35 cm high, erect.
Leaves spathulate, deeply 3-lobed, the lobes sometimes further divided, rarely entire on the upper branches, 15–25 mm long, 7–20 mm wide, apex obtuse.
Heads 4.5–6 mm long; involucral bracts obtuse, glandular-pubescent, sparsely hirsute. Ray florets white to blue.
Achenes 3.5–5 mm long; marginal ridges narrow, pubescent; faces with ribs all extending to the summit, pubescent; pappus bristles 3.5–5 mm long.
Flowering: most of year.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in woodland, mallee and cleared land; widespread from coastal to inland districts.
