Description: Herb with prostrate or ascending branches to 1 m long.
Leaves with 6–9 pairs of leaflets; leaflets ± oblong, 7–15 mm long, 3–6 mm wide.
Sepals 4–7 mm long. Petals 5–9 mm long, 1.2–2 times as long as sepals. Stigma elongated pyramidal, much longer than style.
Fruit villous; spines numerous, hairy, 0.5–5 mm long; cocci 7–13 mm long; seeds 3–5 per coccus.
Flowering: throughout year.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on red sandy soils, north from Dareton.
