Teucrium sp. D sensu Conn (1992) APNI* 
Description: Perennial herb to 1.5 m high; branches densely covered spreading, multicellular gland-tipped hairs and sessile glands.
Leaves simple; lamina ovate, 2.2–5 cm long, 15–30 mm wide; apex subacute; base acute; margins toothed to slightly lobed; densely covered spreading; multicellular gland-tipped hairs and sessile glands; petiole 0–14 mm long.
Inflorescence usually branched, up to c. 10 flowers per leaf axil; pedicel 3–10 mm long, ascending. Sepals 3–5 mm long, fused for half their length, densely covered with spreading multicellular gland-tipped hairs and sessile glands. Corolla 6–10 mm long.
Flowering: January–July.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in partially cleared areas and woodland; in Tamworth district.
NSW subdivisions: NT, NWS
This taxon is similar to T. corymbosum except that it differs in the indumentum on the branches, leaves and inflorescence and the size and shape of the leaves.
