Description: Prostrate, succulent herb; stems to 15 cm long, glabrous or hairy.
Leaves narrow-elliptic to narrow-oblanceolate, 3–17 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, apex obtuse or acute, lamina glabrous or hairy; petiole to 1 mm long; stipules hyaline with 3–5 lobes.
Flowers axillary, 1–5 on pedicels to 6 mm long in fruit. Calyx lobes narrow-triangular to 1.5 mm long. Corolla 1–2 mm long, whitish, lobes ± triangular, abruptly acuminate.
Capsule mostly 1–2 mm wide, ± laterally compressed, opening loculicidally by 2 valves; seeds c. 10, angular, dark brown.
Flowering: July–October
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in a variety of communities; widespread, chiefly in the northwest of the State, Baradine to Broken Hill.
