Description: Prostrate to ascending annual or perennial; stems sparsely pubescent with minute, broad, appressed, basifixed or sub-basifixed hairs.
Leaves mostly 1–4 cm long; leaflets 9–13, obovate to narrow-obovate, lateral leaflets 1–7 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, apex retuse or emarginate, lower surface sparsely pubescent; stipules 1–2 mm long.
Racemes 1–4-flowered; flowers 3–5 mm long. Calyx pubescent, teeth ± equal to tube. Corolla cream or yellow, sometimes tinged pink; keel apex obtuse or recurved below an extended small, acute tip. Style tip strongly incurved, often with a tuft of hairs.
Pod elliptic, mostly 10–25 mm long, pubescent; style 1–1.5 mm long; stipe minute.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on flat loamy or sandy soil, often on calcareous plains.
