Spiraea x billiardii Herincq APNI*
Description: Shrub to 2 m high.
Leaves oblong-lanceolate, 5–8 cm long, apex and base acute,margins coarsely and regularly toothed in apical two-thirds, lower surface grey-green tomentose.
Flowers bright pink in narrow dense panicles up to 20 cm long. Flowers and leaves present on the shrub at the same time.
Flowering: Flowers summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Rarely naturalized garden escape, recorded as naturalized in the Tumut district. Of garden origin c. 1854.

Formerly placed in the family Malaceae (now part of Rosaceae).
