Description: Slender creeping herb with stems ± succulent, rooting at the nodes, forming dense flat mats, finely pubescent.
Leaves ± circular to reniform, mostly 2–4 mm long, 3–5 mm wide, sparsely hairy, 3-veined from base; petiole c. 1 mm long.
Flowers c. 1 mm long.
Achene ellipsoid, c. 1 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Native of the W Medit. area, Corsica, Sardinia and Balearic Is. Not widely naturalized.
