Sisymbrium altissimum L. APNI*
Description: Annual to 100 cm high, usually scabrous at base.
Basal leaves to 10 cm long, pinnatisect with 5–7 pairs of lobes; upper leaves pinnatisect with the terminal lobe linear, ± sessile.
Inflorescence without bracts. Sepals 4–5 mm long, glabrous or sparsely bristly, outer sepals horned. Petals 5–8 mm long, yellow to pale yellow. Style plus 2-lobed stigma 1–3.5 mm long. Siliqua linear, spreading, 5–10 cm long, 1–1.5 mm wide; pedicel spreading, 3–10 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Native of Asia & Eur.
