Senecio crassiflorus (Poir.) DC. APNI* 
Description: Decumbent perennial herb with stems 20–50 cm high, silvery- to white-woolly.
Leaves spathulate to oblanceolate, mostly 4–8 cm long, 6–20 mm wide, margins entire or toothed towards apex, both surfaces woolly, base tapered and ± stem-clasping.
Heads solitary or a few together; heads broad-campanulate, 10–15 mm diam., woolly; involucral bracts 20–22, 13–16 mm long; bracteoles 9–12. Ray florets 15–22; ligules 20–30 mm long.
Achenes 3–5 mm long; pappus 14–15 mm long.
Flowering: throughout year.
Distribution and occurrence: Cultivated as an ornamental, sometimes naturalized in coastal districts from Stockton to Berowra district. Native of S Amer.
