Description: Erect or decumbent perennial to c. 30 cm high with hairy branches.
Leaves linear, slightly flattened, usually succulent, to c. 25 mm long, hairy.
Fruiting perianth hairy, c. 3 mm long; base hollow, oblique; spines erect, parallel, c. 2 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread but uncommon.
