Description: Erect short-lived perennial to c. 30 cm high with sparsely hairy branches.
Leaves semiterete, to c. 10 mm long, hairy.
Fruiting perianth thin-walled, 1.5–2.5 mm long, constricted in the middle; base hollow, oblique; spines 2, divergent, subequal, to c. 2 mm long; tubercle prominent.
Seed vertical. Uncommon.
