Description: Erect to decumbent perennial to c. 25 cm high; branches hairy.
Leaves semiterete, usually succulent, to c. 10 mm long.
Fruiting perianth subglobose to urn-shaped, 2–5 mm long, glabrous or slightly hairy; spines 5, recurved, ± equally spaced.
Seed horizontal. Uncommon.
