Description: Erect to decumbent perennial.
Leaves 3–10 cm long, 4–8 mm thick.
Flowers 2.5–6 cm diam. Perianth tube 10–15 mm long, lobes 3.5–10 mm long. Petaloid staminodes 4–28 mm long, 0.5–1.8 mm wide, white towards the base, pink above.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on heavy or sandy soils in the southern arid areas.
