Ranunculus productus B.G.Briggs APNI*
Description: Perennial, pilose with appressed hairs.
Flowering stems usually unbranched, mostly 1–4 cm long at flowering, elongating to 7–45 c. at fruiting.
Leaves mostly basal, densely pilose with short appressed hairs; lamina 7–35 mm long, 7–20 mm wide, pinnately divided into 3–7 ovate segments which are ternately lobed and further lobed or toothed; petiole 5–8.5 cm long. Flowers 3–4 mm diam. Nectaries with a semicircular lobe almost as wide as the petal.
Achenes 25–45, 0.3–0.8 mm long, lateral faces smooth; beak slender, strongly recurved.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: In wet montane and subalpine grassland of the Kosciusko plateau.
