Description: Prostrate to procumbent shrub; stems appressed-pubescent.
Leaves alternate, linear to linear-obovate, terete with a groove on the upper surface, 4–12 mm long, 0.5 mm wide, apex obtuse, recurved; stipules 1.5–2mm long.
Inflorescences subterminal or apparently terminal, dense, on lateral short shoots; bracts imbricate, 2–4 mm long, entire or 2- or 3-lobed at apex, ovate to broad-ovate, acute to obtuse, keeled, hairy along keel and margins, caducous. Flowers 6–8 mm long; pedicels 2–5 mm long; bracteoles 4–5 mm long, fused to the stipules at base, c. 4 times longer than stipules, linear, hairy, attached at base of calyx tube. Calyx 4–6 mm long, moderately hairy; lobes bristly to acuminate. Ovary hairy.
Pod 5–7 mm long, flattened.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest, south from Bathurst area.
