Description: Erect shrub; stems covered with long spreading hairs.
Leaves alternate, oblong to obtriangular, 4–10 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, apex rounded to scarcely retuse and usually recurved, margins strongly recurved, concolorous or upper surface darker than lower; stipules c. 2 mm long.
Inflorescences subterminal or apparently terminal, few-flowered, leafy, often on lateral short shoots; bracts absent. Flowers 8–10 mm long; pedicels c. 1 mm long; bracteoles 1–2 mm long, lacking stipules, narrow-triangular, hairy, attached at base of calyx tube. Calyx 4–5 mm long, sparsely hairy; lobes acuminate. Ovary hairy.
Pod 6–8 mm long, flattened.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll woodland on granite; confined to Jennings district in N.S.W.
