Description: Terrestrial herb.
Rosette leaves 3–6, oblong to cordate, 1.5–4 cm long, 10–18 mm wide, margins irregular to wavy; petiolate.
Scape to 35 cm high, with 3–5 spreading stem leaves. Flower c. 2.5 cm long, erect, dark green and white, shiny. Dorsal sepal with a filiform point to 7 mm long. Petal margins not flared. Lateral sepals tightly embracing the galea; sinus flat, shallowly notched at the centre, abruptly protruding when viewed from the side; free points 25–30 mm long, filiform, erect. Labellum oblong-lanceolate, green at base, red-brown towards apex, obtuse, 13–15 mm long, c. 3 mm wide, obtuse, curved, the distal third protruding from the sinus in the set position.
Flowering: April–August
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on moist shady slopes in tall sclerophyll forest; north from Grafton.
