Pseudanthus pimeleoides Sieber ex Spreng. APNI*
Description: Erect shrub to 60 cm high, much-branched, glabrous.
Leaves crowded, linear to narrow-ovate, 5–15 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, apex acute, ± pungent-pointed.
Flowers clustered at ends of branches, shortly pedunculate. Male flowers conspicuous, creamy-white; perianth 5–12 mm long. Female flowers few and inconspicuous, perianth 2–3 mm long.
Capsule ovoid, c. 4 mm long, acute, smooth to slightly tuberculate.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: mostly in the greater Sydney region, from Colo heights south to Bargo. Also a few records from the upper Hunter valley and a single, anomalous, specimen from the North Coast. Grows in sandy soils in moist gullies, uncommon.

Pseudanthus was formerly placed in Euphorbiaceae.
