Prostanthera prunelloides R.Br. APNI* 
Description: Erect to spreading shrub 1.5–2 m high, slightly aromatic; branches 4-ridged, usually ± tuberculate, moderately covered with ± sessile glands and with short, curled hairs between ridges.
Leaves with lamina ovate to ± circular, 16–65 mm long, 9–40 mm wide; apex ± obtuse; base broad-cuneate to rounded; margins entire or finely toothed; surfaces light to mid green, densely covered with ± sessile glands, glabrous or sparsely hairy on veins on lower surface; petiole 3–14 mm long.
Flowers in terminal botryoid part inflorescences; bracteoles not persistent, c. 2.5 mm long. Calyx 5–6.5 mm long; tube 3–3.5 mm long; upper lobe 2–3 mm long, not or only slightly enlarged in fruit. Corolla 12–15 mm long, white with faint mauve tinge basally inside throat, pale mauve or rarely with a pink tinge. Anthers with appendage 1–1.3 mm long.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll forest and woodland, often along creeks, in sandy soils over sandstone; from Murwillumbah to the Budawang Ra.
