Description: Decumbent to ± erect, slender, annual herb, 8–15 cm high.
Leaves spathulate to obovate, mostly 4–15 mm long, 1.5–3 mm wide, margins ± flat; petiole 2–5 mm long; stipules entire, membranous.
Corymbs c. 0.3–0.8 c. across. Flowers mostly < 2 mm diam.
Capsule 1.5–2 mm diam.
Flowering: warmer months.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread in forest and woodland.
