Description: Low shrub, hairs on new growth short and appressed, shining golden-brown.
Leaves narrow-elliptic to oblong, 10–20 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, margins recurved; upper surface glabrous; lower surface with appressed shining golden-brown hairs, secondary veins obscure.
Flowers creamish, in small terminal panicles. Petals absent. Hypanthium, sepals and capsule with long whitish hairs above scattered stellate hairs.

Distribution and occurrence: Rare in this State, collected only from Berrima at the turn of the century.
