Description: Shrub to 50 cm high, stems rusty stellate-tomentose.
Leaves ovate to broad-elliptic, usually 1–2 cm long, 5–15 mm wide, margins ± crenate, often with a whitish border; upper surface ± glabrous; lower surface tomentose with ± rusty stellate hairs.
Flowers yellow, pedicellate in loose panicles. Sepals persistent in fruit. Petals absent.
Capsule and hypanthium with only short stellate hairs.
Distribution and occurrence: Rare in N.S.W., only 1 early collection from along the Darling R.; there is some doubt as to the validity of this locality.
