Description: Shrub to 1.5 m high; new growth and young stems coppery-silky.
Leaves narrow-elliptic to elliptic, 3–7 cm long, 10–25 mm wide, apex acute or obtuse, sometimes rounded or emarginate; upper surface glabrous; lower surface silvery, silky with hairs lying in the same direction, secondary veins regularly arranged, tertiary veins usually not apparent.
Flowers cream, in very sparse panicles. Petals auriculate.
Capsule covered with long greyish to white hairs.
Distribution and occurrence: In rocky sites, mostly at higher altitudes on the escarpment north from Mt Seaview, mostly in open forest. In sclerophyll forest and woodland and scrub, in rocky sites, mostly at higher altitudes.
