Description: Slender shrub or spreading tree to 9 m high, stems with long spreading rusty simple hairs over a short whitish tomentum.
Leaves obovate to ± circular, 6–20 mm long, 5–14 mm wide, apex broadly obtuse; upper surface pale to mid green, densely covered with minute stellate hairs; lower surface greyish, densely stellate-hairy; stipules lanceolate, 3–5 mm long.
Flowers yellowish, in terminal pyramidal panicles. Petals absent.
Capsule finely stellate-hairy, sometimes with a few simple hairs.
Distribution and occurrence: Scattered in rocky sites in tall shrub communities on the escarpment ranges to the coast, from near the Tuross R. south to Nadgee. In rocky sites in tall shrub communities.
