Description: Non-aromatic shrub, 30–150 cm high; branches erect or ascending, sparsely covered with short, antrorse multicellular hairs, with ocassional gland-tipped hairs, sessile glands absent.
Leaves with lamina ovate to more or less circular, 2.5–8.5 cm long, 2–7 cm wide; apex obtuse to acute; base very broad-rounded to broad-cunate; margins crenate to crenate-toothed, with 7–15 pairs of teeth; both surfaces sparsely to moderately antrorse-hairy, sparsely to moderately covered with sessile glands, especially on the lower surface; petiole 1.5–3.5 cm long.
Calyx 1.7–2.6 mm long, 4–5 mm long in fruit. Corolla 7–13 mm long, blue to mauve, sparsely hairy; tube decurved at an angle of 90–120 degrees; lower and upper lobes with sessile glands.
Flowering: Flowers February – May.
Distribution and occurrence: Uncommon. North of Terania Creek. Grows on rocky cliffs in rainforest.
