Plantago euryphylla B.G.Briggs, Carolin & Pulley APNI* 
Description: Perennial herb, with adventitious roots; pilose.
Leaves basal, obovate to spathulate, 3–10.5 cm long, 13–40 mm wide, 5–9-veined, margins entire or with a few small teeth.
Scapes mostly 10–20 cm long; spike narrow cylindrical, dense, 4–10 cm long in fruit; bracts ovate to elliptic, 2–3 mm long, with a wide thickened keel. Sepals elliptic, 1.5–2.5 mm long, glabrous with a narrow keel. Corolla lobes circular to broad-ovate, 0.5–1 mm long.
Capsule broad-ovoid, 2.5–3.5 mm long; seeds 4.
Flowering: December–March
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in alpine herbfield and subalpine grassland above 1500 m alt., south from the Brindabella Ra.
