Pimelea umbratica A.Cunn. ex Meisn. APNI* 
Description: Much-branched shrub to 1 m high, stems brownish pubescent, glabrescent with age.
Leaves usually alternate, crowded towards the end of branches, mostly ± oblong to oblanceolate, 8–20 mm long, 3–6 mm wide, thick, dull green, with short fine antrorse hairs, from densely hairy to hairs restricted to midvein.
Flowers solitary or in few-flowered clusters in axils of leaves and usually accompanied by new vegetative growth. Bracts absent. Flowers 12–14 mm long, pubescent, white. Anther connective wide.
Fruit ovoid, 3 mm long, green.
Distribution and occurrence: In shrubland on stony soils above rainforest; not common, confined to the Tweed and McPherson Ranges.
