Description: Annual herb, procumbent or erect to 30 cm high, without stinging hairs.
Leaves of unequal size at each node, obovate to elliptic, 1.5–5 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, fleshy, entire, apex obtuse; petiole 1–2 mm long; stipules apparently absent.
Inflorescence axillary, globose. Flowers very small.
Distribution and occurrence: Sometimes cultivated; naturalized around Lake Macquarie. Native of Trop. Amer.
