Phyllota grandiflora Benth. APNI* 
Description: Erect shrub to c. 1 m high, young growth pubescent.
Leaves narrow-linear, 6–20 mm long, 1.0–2.25 mm wide, apex obtuse or acute, margins revolute.
Flowers numerous in dense, leafy spikes towards ens of branches; pedicels 1–2 mm long; bracteoles lanceolate 8.5–15 mm long. Calyx 6–10 mm long, villous. Corolla 10–15 mm long; standard yellow with ± reddish markings; keel often with greenish markings. Ovary villous; style pubescent often extending along upper edge around the hook.
Pod not seen.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: In dry sclerophyll forest or heath on sandstone, mostly from Port Jackson west to Hawkesbury R.
