Phebalium bullatum J.M.Black APNI* Description: Shrub to 2 m high; stems glanular-verrucose, silvery-ferruginous lepidote.
Leaves thick, narrowly oblong-cuneate, often V-shaped in cross section, 0.6–1.2 cm long, 1.5–2 mm wide, apex rounded or retuse, margins glandular undulate, upper surface channelled, glabrous, glossy, lower surface silvery-lepidote.
Inflorescences c. 6-flowered, sessile; pedicels slender, c. 5 mm long. Calyx hemispherical, smooth, with silvery-lepidote, with broadly dentate teeth. Petals c. 3 mm long, with silvery and rusty scales outside, yellow.
Cocci erect to slightly spreading, 3–4 mm long, rounded.
Flowering: Spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Known from south-western NSW in the Scotia Wildlife Sanctuary. Found on sand dunes in shrubbery.
