Persoonia sericea A.Cunn. ex R.Br. APNI*
Description: Erect to spreading shrub, young branchlets moderately to densely hairy.
Leaves obovate to oblanceolate, narrow-oblong, narrow-elliptic or narrow-spathulate to spathulate, 1.5–6 cm long, 2–21 mm wide, flat, sometimes with recurved margins, sometimes incurved, moderately to densely hairy when young, minutely scabrous (± so).
Inflorescences growing on into a leafy shoot; flowers subtended by scale leaves or leaves; pedicels 2–12 mm long, moderately to densely hairy. Tepals 9–11 mm long, apiculate to caudate, moderately hairy. Ovary densely hairy.
Distribution and occurrence: in woodland to dry sclerophyll forest, north from Grenfell.

Other Australian states: Qld
This species occasionally hybridizes with P. cornifolia, P. tenuifolia and P. terminalis where it occus with those species.
