Description: Erect to spreading shrub, young branchlets moderately hairy.
Leaves linear, 1.5–2.7 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, usually slightly incurved, succulent, semiterete when living, deeply concave when dried, smooth, sparsely hairy when young, soon glabrescent.
Inflorescences indeterminate; flowers mostly subtended by leaves. Pedicels 2.5–5 mm long, spreading to suberect, moderately hairy. Tepals 12–15 mm long, caudate, glabrous. Ovary glabrous.
Distribution and occurrence: In sclerophyll forest or woodland on soils derived from Narrabeen sandstone; Newnes Plateau, near Lithgow.
