Persoonia fastigiata R.Br. APNI*
Description: Small shrub, young branchlets moderately hairy.
Leaves linear to oblong or linear-spathulate, 1.5–4.0 cm long, 0.75–2 mm wide, incurved, scabrous, moderately hairy when young, glabrescent to moderately hairy when mature.
Inflorescences terminated by a dormant bud or growing on into a leafy shoot; flowers subtended by scale leaves and leaves; pedicels 5–10 mm long, suberect to recurved, moderately hairy. Tepals 9–10 mm long, apiculate or shortly caudate, moderately hairy. Ovary densely hairy.
Distribution and occurrence: in dry sclerophyll woodland or forest on granite; New England Tableland south of Glen Innes and adjacent Slopes.
NSW subdivisions: NT, NWS
This species occasionally hybridizes with P. cornifolia where they grow together.
