Description: Erect shrub, young branchlets moderately hairy.
Leaves elliptic to broad-elliptic, ovate or obovate, 1–2.5 cm long, 3–12 mm wide, flat, with slightly recurved margins, sparsely hairy when young, glabrescent when mature.
Inflorescences growing on into a leafy shoot; flowers mostly subtended by leaves; pedicels 2–5 mm long, erect to recurved, glabrous to sparsely hairy. Tepals 5–12 mm long, shortly caudate, glabrous to sparsely hairy. Ovary glabrous.
Distribution and occurrence: in dry or wet sclerophyll forest; Mt Imlay, Nalbaugh N.P., Nungatta and Yambulla Peaks.
