Pellaea calidirupium Brownsey & Lovis APNI*
Description: Rhizome long-creeping, with scales.
Fronds 20–50 cm long, dimorphic; sterile frond shorter with 4–12 pinnae; stipe 45–55% length of frond; stipe and rachis dark red-brown bearing scales and hairs. Lamina with 15–40 short-stalked pinnae, glossy dark green on upper surface, paler green beneath with scattered narrowly acuminate scales on both surfaces. Juvenile and mature sterile pinnae ± round or oblong; terminal pinnae sometimes greatly enlarged; fertile pinnae ± triangular, 14–30 mm long, 7–12 mm wide, symmetric.
Sori a continuous marginal band, 1–4 mm wide.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in crevices among boulders in rocky areas.
