Description: Robust shrub to 3 m high; stems pale with a floccose tomentum.
Leaves cuneate or spathulate, 20–40 mm long, 7–10 mm wide, base tapering, margins recurved and undulate or minutely toothed; lamina discolorous, upper surface green and glabrous or viscid, lower surface finely tomentose; petiole 1.5–4 mm long.
Heads in spreading terminal corymbs; heads cylindrical or narrow-campanulate, 4–4.5 mm long, 1.5–3 mm wide; involucral bracts woolly on the margins, the inner with opaque white laminas. Florets 4–6, all bisexual. Pappus bristles clavate at apex.
Flowering: spring–summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll forest; south from Batemans Bay district.
