Olearia lasiophylla Lander APNI*
Description: Shrub to 1 m high.
Leaves alternate, scattered; lamina elliptic, 7–55 mm long, 4–16 mm wide; apex acute or obtuse, without a mucro; margins entire or sinuate-toothed or toothed, flat; surfaces discolorous, upper surface loosely stellate-hairy and dark green, lower surface densely stellate-hairy and pale green; venation reticulate; petiole to 4 mm long.
Heads terminal, solitary or clustered, pedunculate, 22–27 mm diam.; peduncle to 34 mm long. Ray florets 14–15, white or mauve. Disc florets 9–15, yellow.
Achenes silky; pappus with 39–52 long bristles in 2 series, with an outer row of short bristles.
Flowering: November–February
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in eucalypt forest on steep slopes in the vicinity of the Geehi Reservoir in the Kosciusko N.P.
