Distribution and occurrence: Naturalised in coastal areas of North Coast and Central Coast,also scattered throughout the lower to mid Blue Mountains (Central Coast). Naturalised in Florida (U.S.A.). Native of Central America. Grows where garden refuse has been disposed.
