Mirbelia confertiflora Pedley APNI* 
Description: Rigid bushy shrub to 2.5 m high; stems terete with sparse, appressed, silky hairs.
Leaves alternate or irregularly whorled, linear, usually 15–25 mm long, 1.5–3 mm wide, apex acute, pungent-pointed, margins revolute, upper surface glabrous or minutely tuberculate, lower surface glabrous or sparsely appressed-hairy. Flowers in racemes, terminal or in the upper axils. Calyx 6–7 mm long, densely hairy. Corolla 8–10 mm long, yellow-orange. Ovary sessile, glabrous; ovules 2. Pod ovoid, 5–7 mm long, apex obtuse. Flowers spring-summer. Grows in dry sclerophyll forest and heath on granite, not common, apparently confined to Gibraltar Ra. N.P. and Boonoo Boonoo N.P. NT; Qld.
