Micromyrtus striata J.W.Green APNI* 
Description: Erect to spreading shrub, 1–1.2 m high.
Leaves obovate, usually 1–2.5 mm long, 0.5–1 mm wide, margins minutely ciliate.
Flowers ± sessile, solitary in upper axils, forming ± terminal clusters of 5–10; bracteoles to 2 mm long, caducous. Hypanthium obconical, 1–2.5 mm long, ribs prominent. Sepals < 1 mm long, membranous, margins usually minutely toothed. Petals broad-elliptic, 1.5–2 mm long, white to pinkish. Stamens 5, 1–1.5 mm long.
Fruit scarcely enlarged from flower.
Flowering: late winter to spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in mallee, heath or woodland, in a variety of habitats from red sand to skeletal soil; widespread in inland regions from Louth to Griffith and in the Nandewar Ra. and near Gloucester.
