Micrantheum ericoides Desf. APNI*
Description: Heath-like shrub to 70 cm high, branches and sometimes leaves pubescent.
Leaves linear to narrow-elliptic, 4–10 mm long, 1–1.5 mm wide, apex ± acute.
Flowers solitary or in pairs. Male flowers on peduncle 1–2 mm long; perianth segments 1.5 mm long; stamens 3. Female flowers on peduncle lengthening to 5 mm in fruit.
Capsule 6–7 mm long, 4 mm wide, smooth.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath and dry sclerophyll forest on sandy soils of low fertility.
