Macrozamia concinna D.L.Jones APNI* 
Description: Stem subterranean, 8–15 cm diam.
Leaves 1–5 in crown, 50–90 cm long, rachis strongly spirally twisted; pinnae 80–120, simple, margins incurved, apex not spinescent, dark green, semi-glossy, longest pinnae 14–21 cm long, 4–6 mm wide; basal pinnae not reduced to spines; petiole ± terete, 9–24 cm long.
Male cones 14–22 cm long, 4–4.5 cm diam., spines 0–1.3 cm long. Female cones ovoid, 13–15 cm long, 7–8 cm diam.; spines 0.2–3 cm long; seeds ovoid 2.1–2.6 cm long, 1.8–2.4 cm wide, red.
Distribution and occurrence: A widespread, but sporadic species, usually on sloping country in dry sclerophyll woodland through the upper Hunter Valley, north to the hills and ranges around Liverpool Plains. Sloping country in dry sclerophyll woodland.
