Macrotyloma uniflorum (Lam.) Verdc. APNI*
Description: Twiner with stems to c. 50 cm long.
Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets ovate to rhombic, usually 2–5 cm long and 10–30 mm wide, both surfaces pubescent, lower surface paler; petiole 1–3 cm long; lateral petiolules 2–3 mm long, terminal petiolule 3–8 mm long; stipules to 5 mm long; stipels c. 2 mm long.
Flowers axillary, solitary or in clusters of 2–4; pedicels 1–3 mm long. Calyx 3–5 mm long, hairy. Corolla 5–10 mm long, yellowish, glabrous.
Pods 25–50 mm long, 4–8 mm wide, appressed-hairy or ± glabrous; seeds 4–7, c. 2 mm long, brown, hilum white.
Flowering: Flowers recorded summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Sometimes cultivated as a pasture plant; naturalized in the Kyogle area. Native of Asia and Afr.
