Lobelia stenophylla Benth. APNI* 
Description: Procumbent to weakly ascending herb to 0.4 m high; stems slender, unwinged, glabrous.
Leaves very narrowly elliptical to linear, lamina 1–2.5(-4) cm long, 1–4(-5) mm wide, narrowing at the base to an indistinct petiole, margins with 3–6 small teeth on each side; apex acute.
Flowers solitary in axils of leaves; pedicels 5–7.5(-11) cm long; calyx lobes 1.5–3 mm long; corolla usually 0.8–1.2 cm long, blue to purple, slit between the upper two lobes but not to the base; anthers glabrous.
Capsule obconical, c. 4 mm long.
Flowering: Spring to Autumn.
Distribution and occurrence: North from the Casino area. Also Qld and N.T. Wet soils in swampy areas.
