Description: Rhizome creeping; scales narrow, yellowish brown.
Fronds not tufted, 10–30 cm long, not markedly dimorphic; stipe straw-coloured with a darker base, shorter than lamina; lamina 1–2-pinnate, linear, 15–30 cm long, < 15 mm wide, pale green; ultimate segments ± fan-shaped, the margins crenate and incised.
Sori continuous or interrupted by marginal lobing; indusium whitish, with an uneven margin.
Distribution and occurrence: in damp sandy places, open forest; rare, recorded only from between Grafton and Corindi.
