Lindsaea brachypoda (Baker) Salomon APNI* 
Description: Rhizome short-creeping; scales short, very narrow, pale brown.
Fronds tufted, 1-pinnate, sterile shorter than the fertile; stipe and rachis straw-coloured; pinnae mostly asymmetric.
Sterile fronds usually 6–16 cm long, 10–15 mm wide; pinnae margins regularly crenately lobed, median pinnae asymmetric. Fertile fronds usually 15–30 cm long, 12–20 mm wide; pinnae asymmetric, 1–2 times longer than wide, the margin usually entire but sometimes with 1–4 notches. Sori continuous or interrupted by the marginal notches; indusium pale.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on banks and rocks in subtropical rainforest, north from Minyon Falls.
