Description: Bushy shrub, usually < 1 m high; branchlets ± glabrous.
Leaves ± narrow-ovate, 4.9–6.7 mm long, 1.0–1.2 mm wide; margins minutely toothed to ciliate; lamina concolorous, glabrous, thick, flat; lower surface faintly striate; petiole 0.7 mm.
Flowers terminal and clustered around in the upper axils, erect, 1 or 2 plus rudiment, white, sessile; bracteoles 1.3–1.75 mm long. Sepals 2.5–3.2 mm long. Corolla tube 1.9–2.0 mm long, glabrous, internally pubescent in upper half; lobes 1.7–2.5 mm long, internally pubescent with hairs shorter towards apex.
Fruit oblong, 2.0–2.3 mm long, pubescent, finely ridged, brown.
Flowering: March–May.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in coastal dry sandplain heaths; occasional, north from Hawks Nest, with an early record from Centennial Park, Sydney.
