Leptospermum sphaerocarpum Cheel APNI* 
Description: Shrub to 2 m high, bark close and firm, younger stems usually shortly pubescent.
Leaves broad- to narrow-elliptic, mostly 5–10 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, thick, flat, recurved or incurved, ± glabrous; apex acute to long-acute, point pungent; base broadly or narrowly tapering to a short thick petiole.
Flowers solitary, mostly 15–20 mm diam., greenish white or pink. Hypanthium 3.5–5 mm long, silky or glabrous. Petals 5–7 mm long. Stamens 4–6 mm long. Ovary 3–5-locular.
Fruit usually 7–10 mm diam., rim not woody, valves woody and exserted as wide as rim.
Flowering: October and November
Distribution and occurrence: In heath or dry sclerophyll forest on ridges or escarpments, especially on sandstone; from Blue Mtns and upper Hunter R. to the Warrumbungle Mtns.
