Leptospermum rupicola Joy Thomps. APNI* 
Description: Shrub to 1 m high, bark close and firm, younger stems with a long appressed pubescence, glabrescent.
Leaves narrow-ovate, 10–20 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, glabrescent, apex long-tapering, point pungent; base gradually tapering; sessile.
Flowers solitary, 10–12 mm diam., white. Hypanthium often with conspicuous oil glands, c. 3 mm long, glabrous. Sepals c. 2 mm long, glabrous. Petals c. 5 mm long. Stamens 1.5–3 mm long. Ovary 5-locular.
Fruit 6–10 mm diam., surface ultimately gnarled, valves spreading beyond the rim.
Flowering: March–May and September-October
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in shrubby communities and heath on sandstone cliffs and escarpments.
