Description: Erect, broom-like shrub to 3 m high; branches semi-terete, striate.
Leaves subulate to triangular, c. 1 mm long, appressed, early caducous.
Inflorescence a shortly pedunculate, lax, lateral raceme; rachis 10–20 mm long. Flowers ± sessile; bracts ovate, acute, c. 0.75 mm long, falling before flowering. Tepals 0.5–7.5 mm long, apex curved, white. Disc distinctly lobed between the stamens.
Drupe ovoid, 3–6 mm long, slightly fleshy.
Flowering: late spring to summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest, in shallow rocky soil; chiefly on the ranges, from Gibraltar Ra. to Tuross R. and Wadbilliga district, also at Brunswick Heads.
